报告摘要:
We prove that the trigonometric periodic peakons for the modified Camassa-Holm equation are orbitally stable. The proof is inspired by [A. Constantin, W. Strauss, Comm. Pure. Appl. Math. 53 (2000)603-610] where the case of peakons of the Camassa-Holm is considered. The main difficulty is that in [A. Constantin, W. Strauss, Comm. Pure. Appl. Math. 53 (2000)603-610] the function F_u associated with a solution u(x, t) could be chosen to be independent of time, whereas here the function F_u(t) depends on time. We solve this problem by establishing a key equality and two inequalities associated with three conservation laws. Our approach can also be applied to stability of elliptic periodic peakons.

陈爱永,博士,教授,硕士生导师,湖南省121创新人才工程第二层次人选。研究方向:常微分方程与动力系统。主持国家自然科学基金项目2项,广西杰出青年基金获得者,曾获“广西自然科学二等奖”、“第十三届广西青年科技奖”。已在《J. Differential Equations》《Studies in Applied Mathematics》等国际著名期刊发表论文近30篇。
