报告摘要：

Legendre first conjectured that given any two positive coprime integers a and b, there are infinitely many primes of the form a+nb, where n is also a positive integer. Dirichlet (1837) proved it with Dirichlet L-series. In this talk, we will start with Dirichlet's method and give some idea of what an L-function is. Moreover, we will discuss some open problems on L-functions related to Langlands program.

报告人简介：

张磊博士毕业于明尼苏达大学，现任新加坡国立大学副教授，主要从事数论、表示论研究，在Annal Math., J. Euro. Math. Soc.等期刊发表多项研究成果。
