报告摘要:

Global intertwining periods were introduced by Jacquet. A more general theory was then developed by Jacquet, Lapid and Rogawski in their study of the regularized Galois periods of the Eisenstein series. We will define the local intertwining periods for the Galois pairs, and apply this construction to local distinction problems, namely distinction of representations induced from cuspidal representations. This is a work in collaboration with Omer Offen.

I will give examples of how the local functional equation of intertwining periods can be used to study distinction of some Langlands quotients for inner forms of GLn over a p-adic field.

Reing Angew. Math (Crell), Jourmal of the Institute of Mathematics of Jussieu, Advances in Mathematics等国际知名杂志上。
