报告题目：On the nonrelativistic limit of ground states for relativistic Fermi systems

报告摘要：

In this talk, we discuss ground states of nonlinear relativistic Fermi systems involving a pseudo-differential operator. By employing Green's function and the variational principle of many-fermion systems, we prove the existence of ground states for the system. The asymptotic behavior of ground states for the system is also analyzed in the non-relativistic limit.

报告人简介：

郭玉劲，华中师范大学数学与统计学学院副院长、教授、博士生导师，先后主持中国科学院百人计划、国家优青、国家杰青等项目。2007年获得加拿大英属哥伦比亚大学博士学位，2007年至2012年先后工作于美国明尼苏达大学、加拿大康科迪亚大学，随后工作于中国科学院武汉物理与数学研究所，2019年初至今工作于华中师范大学。主要从事变分理论及其在非线性偏微分方程、数学物理等领域的应用研究，围绕微机电系统MEMS方程、质量临界约束变分理论、量子多体系统分析等课题做出过一系列原创性研究。相关成果在美国数学会出版研究专著1部，在Comm. Pure Appl. Math.、Arch. Ration. Mech. Anal.、Trans. Amer. Math. Soc.、J. Math. Pures Appl.等数学权威期刊上发表论文近50篇，曾获中国科学院百人计划终期评估优秀、湖北省自然科学二等奖。
