报告摘要:

The system of thermoelasticity, which governs the evolution of thermoelastic nonconductors of heat, allows two types of characteristic discontinuities: thermoelastic vortex sheets for which the tangential velocity can undergo a jump, and thermoelastic contact discontinuities for which the velocity is continuous across the discontinuity interface. In this talk we will present the structural stability results on two-dimensional elastic vortex sheets (joint with R. M. Chen, J. Hu, D. Wang, and D. Yuan) and multi-dimensional thermoelastic contact discontinuities (joint with G.-Q. G. Chen and P. Secchi).

报告人简介:

王涛,现任武汉大学数学与统计学院副教授,主持国家自然科学基金优秀青年基金等4项,参与重点项目等2项。研究方向:流体力学中的偏微分方程。近年来在相关领域,特别是非线性高维双曲型方程组的特征自由边界问题方面取得了一系列突出的成果,论文发表于Arch. Ration. Mech. Anal.Math. Anna.等期刊。
