报告摘要:
In the mathematical study of celestial mechanics, some of the most important results are about final motions of the celestial bodies as time goes to infinity. The motion is called hyperbolic when the masses go to infinity with no-zero asymptotic velocities, as in the Kepler problem. In this talk, we will report some recent progress for hyperbolic motions in the n-body problem and the planar restricted n+1 body problem.

余国巍,南开大学陈省身数学研究所特聘研究员,国家级青年人才项目入选者。2013年在美国明尼苏达大学获得基础数学博士学位,2013-2018年分别在加拿大多伦多大学、法国巴黎九大/巴黎天文台、意大利都灵大学、美国数学科学研究所(MSRI)做博士后工作。研究方向为动力系统,天体力学和变分法。论文发表在相关领域的权威期刊如Archive for Rational Mechanics and Analysis,Communication in Mathematical Physics,Ann. Inst. H. Poincaré Anal. Non Linéaire,Calc. Var. Partial Differential Equations,Ergodic Theory and Dynamical Systems等。
