报告摘要:

The classical model of an isolated self-gravitating gaseous star is given by the Euler-Poisson system. The Euler-Poisson system admits various solutions that are equilibrium or expansion for all time or collapse in finite time or rotate. Meanwhile, the well-posedness of this system has been an open problem in mathematics. In this talk, I will discuss several recent results and progress on those star solutions focusing on continued collapse and linear expansion based on the pressureless Euler-Poisson system. If time permits, I will also discuss the solution of the Euler-Poisson system which includes both collapse and expansion.

报告人简介:

姚悦,博士毕业于中国科学院数学与系统科学研究院,现于北京邮电大学数学科学学院工作。姚悦主要从事流体偏微分方程的研究,主要工作发表于SIAM J. Math. Anal.,目前主持一项国家自然青年科学基金。
