报告摘要：

The notion of a John domain was initially introduced in 1961 by Fritz John, and later named after him by Martio and Sarvas. John domains find extensive applications in the theory of Sobolev functions in metric measure spaces and functional analysis, as they represent essentially the sole class of domains that support the Sobolev-Poincare inequality. In this presentation, I will introduce several recent applications of John domains in the theory of the calculus of variations.

苏伟聪，本科毕业于中山大学，现为中国科学院数学与系统科学研究院博士，导师为张翼副研究员。主要研究方向为变分问题。
