In this talk, we firstly introduce the backgrounds of the shallow water wave model inbriefly, especially from two aspects of higher dimensions and coupled system. Then we will discuss some recent progress on a 2D KP type shallow water system for whioh the physical derivation, local wellposedness, and blow up analysis will be shown. Finally, we will propose some further problems. This is a joint work with Lili Huang, Yue Liu, and Tiantian Zhao.

报告人简介：

严凯，2014年博士毕业于中山大学数学学院，现任华中科技大学数学与统计学院教授、博士生导师。严凯一直致力于非线性偏微分方程的理论研究，尤其是对Navier-Stokes方程/Euler方程的逼近模型一浅水波方程解的整体存在与爆破现象进行了深入系统的研究。目前以第一作者、通讯作者身份已在Communications in Mathematical Physics, Mathematische Zeitschrift, Revista Matemática Iberoamericana, SIAM Journal on Mathematical Analysis与Journal of Differential Equations等本领域重要期刊上正式发表SCI论文20篇，主持并完成国家自然科学基金青年基金与面上项目各一项。2018年荣获华中科技大学“学术新人奖”，2019年起获聘华中科技大学“华中卓越学者”，2020年荣获“香江学者奖”，2025年荣获湖北省工业与应用数学学会第三届优秀青年学者奖。
